Tai Chi Certificate Programs
for teaching Tai Chi/Qigong
Becoming a Tai Chi/Qigong Instructor begins with becoming certified.
We offer courses locally in Orange County California. A minimum of two year weekly one hour program, with total hours for certification 75-100 hours or, student(s) may prefer an accelerated program that can still meet the 75-100 hours by offering tighter frequent sessions of meeting more than once a week. Condensing the time frame in half may be arranged by tailored personal appointments, prearranged to fit within the student's schedule.
The open range of 75 - 100 hours for the teacher training is based upon the student's capability to absorb and retain the course content, as each student may differ in ascertaining the work. The student must demonstrate the ability to articulate the moves, and successfully lead others in the sequential segments is the final phase to becoming a certified Tai Chi/Qigong instructor.
Materials/Cost:
Video handout and outline print out used as a reference tool. Cost is $15.00
The student will receive a certification of completion, after successfully leading a minimum of 2 to 3 group sessions
Hours Inclusive to Training:
Class time may consist of 1:1 time or in a group class setting. Final testing will be leading two to three courses.
Fees: $1,350.00 total, formulated from $18 per 1-hr session x 75 (Priced from assumed 75 sessions)
Payment schedule: Two payments periods where the 1st payment of 50% shall be secured in advance as retainer amount of $675.00 with a balance due at mid-point of lesson #38.
Itinerary:
Instructors Bio (40 years of Practice)
- Learn and Teach all 64 forms "Kuang Ping" Tai Chi Style movements: A Tai Chi teacher requires certain technical proficiency and sound knowledge to generating the forms.
- Able to lead students the movements authentically (energy aligned) from natural Chi. Understanding the balanced physics to central gravity, utilizing body mechanics, and internal principles forming a rooted experience.
- Using room energy to shift the space making students feel an enjoyable and refreshing experience should moods fall offset or stagnant.
- Being invested in students achieving success by adding to reinforce their ambitions and offering a language the student most understands. Being an aid by helping students execute the moves that can embrace the most transparent, genuine, and relaxed way.
- Expressing from intuitive, the internal Qi work. (Learning Reiki optional, yet most encouraged).
- Have a humble heart while guiding others through the forms as being approachable for all inquiries.
- Administrative: Being able to follow the curriculum, keep records of hours that match instructors sign-off sheets and most of all being intentional to completing commitments including communication to advance rescheduling if needed.
Disclosure: Our mission to mastery is not just a piece of paper proving completion nor is it about chain selling credentials to declare your complete. Instead, the integrity is from long term commitment that can truly cultivates the value of this work. Essentially, it all happens through time and patience that may build ones character as creating the most authentic path of fully integrating this work. From a humble level, Mastery is an open mind to continually learn and refine yet we get the value work following 20 years of practice. The 20 + years trademarks comes from the Chinese historic principals of ethics to training. Since mastery is ongoing to learning weather a student or teacher, what we offer as tailored programs is simply shorten where yet is most encouraged the student continually practices on there own to further elevate themselves as due diligence. (For an example, the instructor offering this course experience exceeds 40 years from continual long term practice of cultivation- this long term in itself is a gift to articulating rich expressions that generates all from personal real-time teaching to students).
Although we do not expect you to wait 20 years to be teacher, nor is Tai Chi certified to be recognized practiced in California State from a licensed industry. Because of this, certification occurs through private teaching(s) where the student has full access to review the instructors bio to determined credibility. By signing up for this course, the students understands that Certification's is accredit in variations of private sectors and not managed or enforced by government. Because of these variations through all the private institutions countrywide, students can exercise the freedom to choose the teaching organization that best fits their needs where hours and training programs may vary and not necessarily be held consistent or standardize. These differences can reflect sometimes while seeking employment from different organizations in accepting credits or credentials by this course offered.
